McDonald's is a fast-food chain restuarant. They serve burgers, fries, salads, wraps, desserts etc. It usually takes about a minute or so to get your food. One of my favorite dishes from McDonalds is the double cheeseburger and chicken mcnuggets. They are just so good!
McDonald's was founded on May 15th, 1940 in San Bernardino, California. The first McDonald's restuarant was called "McDonald's Bar-B-Que". The McDonalds had realized most of there profits had came from hamburgers so in October 1948 they made McDonald's Bar-B-Que a self-service operation which means they pay for their goods and pay a cashier. Later that year they changed their restuarant name to McDonald's.
